As I sit here writing my second Chairman's letter for the Rally Book I ask myself where has my first year gone? Very quickly!! That's how it's gone.

It's been great to see an upturn in new members, with the total number of registered Centre members just over the 1000 mark and new members attending more than just one rally. That's down to all of you out there for making them welcome on their first rally. For those of you reading this who may not have rallied before, please come along and give it a try. You can always speak to me or any member of the Committee to find out what it's all about.

Andy and Yvonne (our Rally Department) have been working hard to put together a great rally programme for 2008 with some old favourites and some new venues - something to please everyone. We will be celebrating the Centre's 1500th rally at Uttoxeter Racecourse on 25th - 27th April where entertainment is planned for the whole weekend. We are also hosting the Central Region's AGM on 22nd- 24th November where entertainment with food has been arranged for the Saturday evening. Please come along and support the rallies.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the Committee for their hard work and support over the last 12 months and also to welcome both old and new Committee Members for 2008.

I'd also like to say a big, big thank you to all of you for supporting the Centre - for acting as Rally Marshals, attending the rallies and helping out whenever needed. Without you the North Staffs Centre would not be the 'friendly' Centre that it's well known for.

Yvonne and I look forward to seeing you on the rally field.
