Osmaston is a pretty Derbyshire village about 3 miles away from Ashbourne. It offers pleasant walks down to the Old Mill or onto the Osmaston Park Estate. The Illuminations theme for 2010 is “Famous Landmarks” and as usual there will be three trophy’s up for grabs in the following categories. Best Indoor Display, Best outdoor Display and best Indoor & Outdoor Display. The Illuminations judging will take place on Saturday evening, so please join in with anything from a simple window display to a full caravan and/or car display. The Shoulder of Mutton public house is close by, and as we are on the edge of the Peak District National Park there is the usual cycling and walking facilities nearby.
DIRECTIONS:	From Ashbourne take the A52 towards Derby. Turn right at the next roundabout staying on the A52. In about ¾ mile turn right s/p Osmaston and then left at the T Junction. Watch for N.S.C signs.
