We are visiting a beautiful part of the country with plenty to do in the area. Church Stretton used to be a Spa Town in the 19th C. Visit Acton Scott historic working farm, walk on the Long Mynd where you can join the Port Way (used 3500 years ago by prehistoric traders). Stokesay Castle is the other side of Craven Arms. There is shopping in Ludlow, Shrewsbury

 

DIRECTIONS:    Take the A49 south from Shrewsbury. Turn right at Traffic lights in Church Stretton on to the B4371. Turn right onto the B5477 (Shrewsbury Road) and continue for 1.5 miles, then turn right by Secondary School into lane and turn right into field at end. Lat. 52.5435, Long. – 2.7978
